My name is Eric Wooldridge, Farm Manager and the slow builder of this website. I grew up in
the Scottsboro-Bells Bend community, but moved to North Carolina for college without any plans to return. Fast forward some years -- the stars aligned and I decided to move back to the Bend with the intent to help start the farms and a CSA program. I've traveled to some beautiful places in the world, but I believe my current home is the most incredible place I've ever been, surrounded by the most inspiring community of people I've ever met. Farming is more than a job, it's a life-way -- one that offers more reward than I ever imagined.
The passions I enjoyed in my pre-farming life are now finding their place once again, as I make time to fly fish, paint with watercolors (carrots are a common theme), hike, kayak, and work to preserve the area I love so dearly. My latest obsession-on-the-side is Old Time music, where I have been gaining a bit of ground with the banjo and, most recently, the fiddle. One great thing about our proximity to Nashville: there's no shortage of incredible musicians to pick with!
