My name is Eric Wooldridge. I am the Farm Manager and the (slow) builder of this site. I grew up in
Scottsboro, moved away to Boone, NC when I was 18, and never thought I'd be back. Yet here I am a few years later wanting to settle down and farm in the old neighborhood.
Brooke Gillon started volunteering
on the farm regularly and became an essential part of
the operation. She is the assistant manager for the farms. Here she is with a few large Amber Globe Turnips!
George has lived in the area
for most of his life, and owns most of the machinery that we use on the
farm. George is a fundamental part of the farming operation and can
usually be found sitting on a tractor, laying underneath a tractor, or
playing his fiddle outside of the Lewis Country Store.
A lot of neighbors are involved in this project, so this is the beginning of the list...
